Hello, I just weantd to say thank you for your insight into the roles played by those directly involved in someone’s learning.  I taught at a community college level for a number of years and have always believed that it was my responsibility to find ways to engage and motivate my student to learn and improve – sometimes this meant being a little unorthodox and creative.  I even found it beneficial by asking the student what they thought was needed in order for their learning to be successful.My head is full of things I would like to say but I am one of those who, at times, struggles with her learning and has wished at times that my mentor/preceptor had taken a more gentler but guiding and positive approach.Every person has the right to a life they can be proud of that boasts independence and having an sound education, no matter what form or direction that might take, provides a solid base for attaining that life.One of my future dreams as a family physician is to be deeply involved in literacy programs and hopefully, demonstrate the very ideals you have shared.Thanks again and have a wonderful day:>)
